Combination of devices
Removal and installation
Disconnect a wire from the negative plug («–») the storage battery.
Remove a frame of a combination of devices, having unscrewed the fastening screw.

Installation is carried out as it should be, the return to removal.
Check of a technical condition
Speedometer
Check of correctness of indications of a speedometer should be carried out at the special stand in the conditions of service station of Hyundai cars.
At wear of tires or a pressure deviation from norm the error of a speedometer increases in them (tab. 7.6).

Tachometer
Establish and connect a control tachometer according to the maintenance instruction.
PREVENTION
Polarity change at connection of a tachometer can lead to damage of its transistor and diodes.
At removal and installation of a tachometer try not to drop it and preserve against strong blows.

At the working engine compare indications of a control tachometer to indications of a regular tachometer. At excess of limits of the admission of measurements replace (tab. 7.7) tachometer.

Index of level of fuel
For check of working capacity separate the contact socket of the fuel level sensor.
Attach a control lamp in capacity of 3,4 W and working tension 12 In to contacts «2» and «3» cable parts of the socket of the fuel level sensor.
Include ignition and be convinced that the control lamp lights up, and the arrow of the index of level of fuel moves to the situation "F" (a full tank).
Fuel level sensor
Check an ohmmeter resistance between contacts «2» and «3» sensors at each provision of a float («Е» – an empty tank; «1/2» – a tank half; «F» – a full tank) (tab. 7.8).
Check smoothness of change of resistance when moving float from the situation "E" to the situation "F".

Sensor of a reserve of fuel
Attach a control lamp (working tension 12 In and capacity of 3,4 W) and the storage battery consistently to sensor conclusions. Ship the sensor in water.
At the termistor shipped in water the control lamp of the index should not burn, at taken out from water — should burn.
NOTE
At malfunction replace the fuel level sensor assembled.

PREVENTION
Upon termination of this check wipe the sensor dry and establish it in a fuel tank.

The index of temperature of cooling liquid
In a motor compartment disconnect the contact socket from the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.
Include ignition and be convinced that the arrow of the index of temperature of cooling liquid is in situation "cold".
Switch off ignition.
Attach a control lamp (working tension 12 In and capacity of 3,4 W) to contact of a cable part of the socket of the sensor and to "weight".
Include ignition. The control lamp should burn, and the arrow of the index to be in situation "hot".
If the result of check does not correspond specified above, replace the temperature index, then again check system.
The sensor of temperature of cooling liquid
Check an ohmmeter resistance between contact «2» sensors and "weight".
If resistance does not correspond specified in tab. 7.9, replace the sensor.

Sensor of pressure of oil
At the idle engine be convinced available chains between contact of the sensor of pressure of oil and "weight".
At the working engine be convinced of lack of a chain between contact of the sensor and "weight".
If the result of check does not correspond specified above, replace the sensor.
Control lamp of pressure of oil
Disconnect the contact socket from the sensor of pressure of oil and connect contact of a wire of the sensor to "weight".
Include ignition and be convinced that the control lamp lights up. If the lamp does not burn, check a lamp and wires.
Sensor of level of brake liquid
Separate the socket of the sensor located on a tank of brake liquid.
Pressing down the sensor (float) any core, be convinced available chains between contacts «1» and «2» sensors.
Control lamp of level of brake liquid
Start up the engine. Switch off the parking brake.
Separate the socket of the sensor of level of brake liquid.
Connect contacts of a cable part of the socket of the sensor to "weight".
Be convinced of fire of a control lamp.
Switch of a control lamp of lay brake system
The switch of a control lamp of the parking brake of press type (the trailer switch) is located under the lever of the parking brake. For adjustment of position of the switch it is necessary to move a switch arm up or down at the lever of a drive of lay brake system established in extreme bottom provision.
Check chain existence between a conclusion and the switch case at short circuit of contacts of the switch (at the top position of the lever of a drive of lay brake system).
Be convinced of lack of a chain between a conclusion and the switch case at disconnection of contacts of the switch (at the lowered lever of a drive of lay brake system).
At discrepancy of results of check specified replace the switch above or check its connection with "weight".
The switch of a control lamp of not fastened seat belt
Separate the contact socket of the switch.
Check chain existence between switch contacts.
At the clasped seat belt resistance should be equal to infinity.
At not fastened seat belt resistance should be equal to zero.
Control lamp of not fastened seat belt
At the included ignition check work of a control lamp.
At the clasped seat belt the control lamp should not burn.
At not fastened seat belt the control lamp should burn.
